Satbir Gill was born in India, where she completed her education up to a Master’s degree. Driven by a passion for learning and a desire for greater opportunities, she embarked on a journey abroad to pursue higher education and advance her career. Satbir earned a PhD in Biomedical Science and has lived in various parts of Europe, enriching her perspective through diverse experiences. She eventually settled in Scotland, where she now calls home with her husband and two young children.
Actively involved in local charities and supporting vulnerable communities, Satbir brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the SCBAME (Scottish Conservatives Friends of BAME) board. Her diverse background and academic achievements underscore her lifelong dedication to excellence, leadership, and meaningful change. As a committed board member, she advocates for greater inclusion, representation, and collaboration across Scotland’s diverse communities.
In her free time, Satbir enjoys hiking Scotland’s scenic trails with her family, traveling, mentoring, and teaching, which reflect her zest for life and passion for empowering others.
