Rhishay Sinha was born in Edinburgh and has lived in Glasgow for most of his life. He is currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) at the University of Glasgow he also works on the railways on the weekends as a frontline employee.
Inspired by his parents' dedication to their work, Rhishay developed a strong work ethic, strategic thinking, and a deep sense of responsibility early on in life.
Rhishay is the founder and president of the Glasgow Hindu Society, he has been influencial in fostering interfaith dialogue and cultural integration, transforming the society into a vibrant hub for community engagement within Scotland’s multicultural landscape.
As a published author, Rhishay co-wrote Hindus in Scotland: Then and Now, documenting the history, challenges, and achievements of the Hindu community in Scotland.
Rhishay has taught at the Hindi Language School, preserving and sharing Indian culture through education.
His passion for sports and service led him to Asia, where he received a community service certificate from the Indian Sports Authority for teaching rugby to children alongside South African international coaches.
Rhishay is deeply dedicated to representing and empowering BAME communities while upholding conservative values of hard work, service, and community.
